Terms of use

These are the rules for using Preppi, in plain words. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy notice.

Version 2026-10-26-1. Last changed 2026-10-26.

Who these terms are with

This site is Preppi. We call ourselves "Preppi", "we" and "us". You are "you".

You can reach us with the contact form or by email at support@preppi.app.

What Preppi is, and what it is not

Preppi is a website for reviewing for the NMAT, the National Medical Admission Test that the Center for Educational Measurement, Inc. (CEM) runs in the Philippines. It gives practice questions with feedback, a study plan around your own week, timed practice tests and an AI tutor.

It is a study aid. Our questions are original practice items, not actual NMAT items. We do not promise any score, percentile or place in a medical school, and nothing on Preppi predicts one. Preppi is independent and is not affiliated with CEM, CHED or any medical school: see the Disclaimer.

The AI tutor can make mistakes. Check anything important against CEM's own materials. The tutor's replies are written by AI, and some practice questions were drafted with AI or made by computer programs. See AI and voice for what the AI does and how to ask a person to look at a reply.

Your account

You must be 13 or older. If you are 13 to 17, a parent or guardian has to agree before we save anything about you, and some features stay off until you are 18 (see the Privacy notice and the young learners page). We cannot check anyone's age: you tell us which age group you are in, and you must tell the truth.

Keep your password to yourself and give us correct details. One account is for one person. If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and tell us.

Price and payment

Preppi is free for now. We have made no promise about what it will cost later.

If we introduce paid plans, before you pay we will show the price in Philippine pesos with everything included, how long it lasts, how it renews and how to cancel. The Refund policy will apply, and a person under 18 may buy only with a parent or guardian's agreement.

The fee for registering for and taking the NMAT is paid to CEM, not to us. We cannot change or refund it.

How you may use Preppi

Use Preppi for your own study. The Acceptable use rules are part of these terms. The most important one: do not put actual NMAT questions, things you remember from the test, or reconstructed topic lists on Preppi, and do not ask for them. CEM's own agreement forbids examinees from sharing these.

Our content and yours

The questions, explanations, study notes and design on Preppi belong to us or are used under a licence; the Credits page lists what comes from others and under what licence. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, sell or republish them, or use them to build a competing service.

What you write (your answers, notes and messages to the tutor) stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it to run Preppi for you, as the Privacy notice explains.

Where our responsibility stops

We work to keep Preppi accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of mistakes or always be running. You are responsible for how you use what you learn here.

Our responsibility to you is limited to the extent the law allows. These terms do not take away any right you have under Philippine law, including the Consumer Act (RA 7394) and the Internet Transactions Act (RA 11967), and nothing in them is meant to.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. Everything saved under it is then deleted and this cannot be undone.

We may close an account that breaks the acceptable use rules, after telling the person why where we can.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to agree to the new version before you carry on. Each agreement is recorded with its date and version number.

Law, and what to do if something is wrong

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.

If something is wrong, tell us first with the contact form and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) about a consumer matter, and to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) about your personal data. See the Contact page.
