Preppi stores a few things in your browser so that it works: your login and your choices. We would also like to count visits to each page, anonymously: no name, no account, no network address. That stays off unless you accept. Change it any time with Cookie settings in the footer. What we store

Privacy for learners under 18

A short version for people aged 13 to 17. The full Privacy notice is the one that counts.

Version 2026-10-26-1. Last changed 2026-10-15.

A parent or guardian has to say yes first

If you are 13 to 17, we ask for the email address of a parent or guardian and send them one message. Until they say yes, we do not save your answers and the study tools stay closed. If they say no, we save nothing.

We cannot check who they are, so please give us the address of a real parent or guardian.

What we save about you

Your email address and, if you give one, your name. What you tell us about your studies and your week. Your answers, how long they took, and your results. Your chats with the tutor.

The tutor is an AI

When you use the tutor, what you type is sent to an AI company so it can write a reply. Your name and email are not sent. The AI can be wrong. It never decides anything about getting into a school.

What is switched off for you

Until you are 18, these stay off:

  • the study buddy (sharing a nickname and a weekly count with someone else);
  • share cards;
  • the tutor's record of how you learn;
  • browser notifications;
  • the optional choice to let anonymised information improve the planner.

Who can see what you do

You can. Our team can read only a tutor reply or a question that you report as wrong, with the reason you gave, and not your name. We do not give your information to schools, to CEM or to advertisers.

It is yours to control

You can delete your account any time from your Account page, and everything saved with it goes. If you have turned 18, you can say so on the same page. If something worries you, write to support@preppi.app. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
