How Preppi works
Your account
- How do I sign up, and how old do I have to be?
- On the sign-up page, choose your age group and agree to the Terms and the Privacy notice. Then sign up with Google or with your email. You must be 13 or older. If you are 13 to 17, a parent or guardian has to agree before we save anything about you.
- I forgot my password.
- On the log in page, choose "Forgot it?" and enter your email. We send a link to choose a new password. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, check your spam folder and ask again.
- I changed my test date or my free times.
- Open Your study profile from the Today page or your Account page, change the date or the times, and save. Your plan is rebuilt around the change.
- How do I delete my account?
- On your Account page, open "Delete my account and data" and type DELETE to confirm. Everything saved under your account is deleted at once and this cannot be undone.
Billing
Refunds
- How do refunds work?
- Because Preppi is free there is nothing to refund today. The policy for any future paid plan is on the Refunds page. The NMAT fee you pay to CEM is separate and is refunded, if at all, by CEM under its own rules.
Your data and privacy requests
- How do I see, correct, copy or delete my data?
- Use the Your data page. Logged in, you can download a copy and delete your account there. For anything else, send a request and we confirm by email that it is you.
- A parent or guardian wants to withdraw their agreement.
- The link in the email we sent them takes them to a page where they can withdraw. The learner's account then stops working and nothing more is saved.
- Who can read my tutor chats?
- Only you. Our team can read a tutor reply, with the question it answered and the reason you gave, only if you flag that reply as wrong, and not your name or other messages. Each look is logged.
The AI tutor
- Can I trust the tutor?
- It can be wrong, unclear or out of date. It names the study note it used so you can check, and CEM's own materials are the authority on the test. Use the "looks wrong" button under a reply to flag one.
- Are the questions and answers written by AI?
- Every tutor reply is. Some review questions were drafted with AI and some are made by computer programs; software and people check them. We do not mark each question or answer, so this is the place we say it: AI and voice and the Credits page. If you want to know how a particular question was made, write to us with the contact form.
- Will it tell me my score or my chances?
- No. It does not predict your NMAT score or percentile and does not decide anything about admission. See AI and voice.
- Is Preppi the same as the NMAT questions?
- No. Our questions are original. We do not have, and do not want, actual NMAT questions: see the Disclaimer.
If you are not satisfied
- Where do I complain?
- Tell us first with the contact form. If we have not put it right, you can complain about a consumer matter to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and about your personal data to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). See Contact.
- How do I report a mistake in a question or a tutor reply?
- Use the report button on the question or under the reply. A person on our team looks at it.
Pace, time and the tutor
How Preppi keeps time while you study, what it does with it, and why the tutor does not search the web.
How Preppi teaches
Preppi is built on a few well-studied ways of learning. The science page explains each in plain words, with where it comes from and where it runs thin.
