Your data and your rights
You can see, correct, take a copy of, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. This page is how.
Version 2026-10-26-1. Last changed 2026-10-15.
How to make a request
If you are logged in, the buttons below do the common things at once. Otherwise, or for anything else, send a request with the form on this page. We email a link to the address on the account to make sure it is you, then you can follow your request by its reference number.
A parent or guardian can make a request for a learner under 18.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have these rights over your personal data:
- Access: to know what we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correction: to have wrong information put right. You can change your study profile yourself at any time.
- Erasure or blocking: to have your information deleted or no longer used. You can delete your account yourself on your Account page.
- Objection: to say no to a way we use your information, including any automated step.
- A copy: to receive your data in a form you can keep and take elsewhere.
- Damages: if your information was used unlawfully and it harmed you, you may claim compensation. We cannot give legal advice on this; the National Privacy Commission can explain how.
- Complaint: you may complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) at any time.
These rights also cover AI-related data
Your tutor chats, the tutor's record of how you learn and the answers used to build your plan are your personal data like everything else. Access, correction, objection and deletion work for them in the same way, and being part of a dataset does not make a request unreasonable.
What happens next
We confirm it is you, then we reply. Our target is to finish within 30 days of confirming your request. That is our target, not a legal limit, and we will tell you if we need longer and why. If we cannot do something, we will tell you why and how to complain.
If you have an account, log in to download or delete your data at once.
