How Preppi works
Short rounds, instant feedback, and a plan that fits your week.
Version 2026-10-26-1. Last changed 2026-10-15.
1. Tell us your test date and your week
A few questions about your studies, your test date and the times you can really study. We build a plan around them and change it when your week changes.
2. Practise in short rounds
A round is five questions, about three to five minutes. You answer first, then you see at once whether you were right and why. Questions of different kinds are mixed on purpose.
3. What you miss comes back
A question you miss returns soon. One you get right returns later, a little further apart each time, and never after your test day.
4. Practise the real clock
Timed practice tests follow CEM's own format: Part 1 is 2 hours 15 minutes, then a 10-minute break, then Part 2 is 90 minutes, with no calculator. The live test is silent and still, like the real thing.
5. A tutor that asks you to try first
The AI tutor lets you attempt a question, then gives hints one step at a time before it shows an answer. It explains in English or Taglish and shows which study note it is using. It can make mistakes: see AI and voice.
6. What you see about your progress
Your accuracy and your speed, by subject and by kind of question, and how well your confidence matched your results. Preppi never shows a predicted NMAT score or percentile, because nothing can predict one honestly.
